I can’t tell you how much I am looking forward to the social media boot camp that starts today here in Toronto. Scott Klososky will be training a select group of WSI Internet Marketing consultants on enterprise social media solutions.
I met Scott a year ago at the International Franchise show in San Antonio. He was a presenter at the show and his presentation was riveting. Since then Scott has featured as a keynote speaker at our international conference in Miami. He also presented a series of webinars over December on implementing social tech in an organization.
Tonight we start an intense boot camp program over dinner, then on to an action packed day tomorrow.
The boot camp covers the following 12 steps:
- Developing social tech goals
- Forming a social tech team
- Implementing internal governance policies
- Integrating Social Tech and Web properties
- Building Rivers of Information
- Integrating with the sales process
- Online reputation management
- Crowdsourcing strategies
- Measurements and ROI
- Choosing your social tools
- The Pilot project process
- Security and Regulations
As you can see we have a full agenda.
I highly recommend that you get a copy of Scott’s book from Amazon and read more Social Tech on his website.
After this boot camp I have 2 sessions to present in South Africa in Johannesburg and Cape Town during March. Scott’s approach is unique and anyone responsible for Digital marketing in a large organization should read his book.
If you would like more information on Scott’s approach, feel free to drop me an email and I will present these concepts to your company.
If you read the book, let us know and any comments on Social Tech would be appreciated
