Off Page SEO
Off Page SEO is exactly what it means. Search Engine Optimization not only requires you to optimize your website and be finished with it. It is a long process and if done correctly, your web site shall reap the rewards.
Off Page SEO techniques
- Building of links from other trusted websites to your website. Link building is most likely the most important aspect of SEO;
- Social bookmarking;
- Publishing of press releases;
- Publishing of articles;
- Forum and blog posts. When commenting on forums and blogs, your name is usually converted to a link. That means for every comment you make, it is a successful backlink to your website. Most blogs and forums links count as “nofollow” links but there still is a couple where you can benefit from having links on them. I wrote and article regarding dofollow and nofollow links.
Well this was just a quick list regarding information from the SEO world. The lists can go on forever but this is a nice break down of what on page and off page SEO entails.
