Here is another video by common craft titled “Social media defined in plain English“. Once again I had a good laugh while watching the video and thinking to myself how easy this video makes it out to be. In the video they use a metaphor-rich story of a town that changes as a result of everyone being able to make their own ice cream. I would definitely recommend this video to everyone even if you know all the ins and outs of Social Media. This video covers the following: Social Media’s role in giving people the power to produce video, music, etc. on the web How social media compares to traditional media How fans decide what will be findable and popular Benefits to individuals and organizations Taken directly for: http://www.commoncraft.com/socialmedia “Social Media in Plain English” is a metaphor-rich explanation of Social Media.
