I have found a presentation online done by “Alex Wong” titled “Social Media and Marketing: Online advertising and networking”.
In the presentation he describes social media marketing (SMM) and the online technologies and practices that people are using to share opinions, insights, experiences, and perspectives with each other.
He explains that interactivity is the most important element in social media marketing (SMM) as it is being used as a measurement of advertising online.
The six dimensions of interactivity
- User control
- Real time interactions
- Personalization/ customization
He also explains that a Social Network is a map of the relationships between individuals, organizations and other relevant nodes indicating the ways in which they are connected by financial, social or professional links.
